Car and Driver and the Best Luxury SUV’s
Car and Driver’s ranking of the Best Full-Size Luxury SUVs considered approximately 200 data points spanning attributes such as acceleration, handling, comfort, cargo space, fuel efficiency, value,
and driving enjoyment. The Escalade, Navigator, and Grand Wagoneer earned spots on Car and Driver's prestigious top 10 list, but the Suburban did not.
Interestingly, our Executive Vehicle and Secure Transportation Survey has consistently highlighted the Suburban as the vehicle of choice for Secure Transportation
professionals over the last decade. However, the Suburban failed to secure a spot on Car and Driver's list.
This discrepancy underscores a significant point. While a vehicle may rank highly in consumer-oriented evaluations, it might not meet the stringent requirements for security driving professionals.
This brings us to a crucial question: what defines an exceptional executive vehicle? As we've repeatedly emphasized, just as a security driver cannot afford to be average, the same holds for the vehicle they operate.
Let us know what specific characteristics/attributes you believe are essential for an executive security vehicle to possess. We will delve deeper into this topic in an upcoming Security Driver Journal.
