Electric cars offer a lack of sound that we are used to when driving an ICE vehicle. Automakers have attempted to solve this perceived problem by contracting with musicians to create sound as the driver moves the vehicle's controls. Mercedes-Benz is collaborating with Black Eyed Peas founder Will.i.am. The result is Sound Drive, a production-ready app that utilizes a suite of sensors connected to a car's accelerator, steering wheel, suspension, and brakes; the system registers inputs and uses them to affect how recorded music is transmitted through the speakers, transforming the driver into something of a DJ.Β

A Half-Century Achievement
Being an instructor for the Scotti School in the past and present-day VDI presents its challenges. It involves mastering the art of designing effective driving exercises, grappling with complex equations like the Chord equation, evaluating student performance, and providing clear communication and coaching to help students meet our rigorous performance objectives. However, despite these difficulties, the tangible outcome of this learning process is evident; a client we trained in 1974 continues to entrust Joe and the VDI team with their security personnel in 2024. What adds to the significance of this achievement is that they are not alone in this loyalty; numerous other organizations will send their security teams to the Scotti School/VDI for an impressive
